At the launch event, attended by senior Government Ministers and officials from the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) and the Electricity Holding Company (EHC), the National Economy Minister encouraged individuals, families and business across the Sultanate to save, not waste, electricity and water over the coming three months.
|

The campaign is being led by the PAEW and EHC in a bid to educate and provide simple action tips and advice on saving across Oman this summer. PAEW and EHC Chairman H.E Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahrouqi and EHC Chief Executive Karl Matacz at the launch event gave details of how the campaign will be implemented and give guidance on the best ways for everyone to think about saving resources in the months ahead.

Nationwide advertising and publicity initiatives will encourage both families and commercial organizations to be smarter in their use of water and electricity for the long-term benefit of the country and to help them achieve lower utility bills in the summer months when demand for electricity and water peaks as temperatures reach their maximum.
