Representatives of the Electricity Holding Company, Muscat Electricity Distribution, Majan Electricity Company, Mazoon Electricity Company and Rural Areas Electricity Company demonstrated the E-Portal in the COMEX Exhibition that took place in Muscat from the 26th to the 30th of April. The E-Portal had its own stand that included logos of the electricity companies involved with images from the e-portal. To educate the public about the e-portal, some education leaflets along with other corporate gift items were distributed.

The presence of the E-Portal stand provided an opportunity for a direct interaction between staff of the electricity companies and the actual electricity users. The representatives were able to understand the expectations of the users, i.e. users expect to be able to make online payments for their electricity bills. So, efforts will be pushed to make online payment possible by June 2010. On the other hand, the E-Portal received a positive feedback from a large number of visitors of the exhibition who expressed their delight over the possibility of reading their bills online.
