About E-Portal

E-Portal is a platform that is designed for all residents, corporate and government users of electricity to access their account information such as billing, payment details and history. It also allows users to send their service request online to the relevant Service Provider Customer Care Offices to accelerate the process. Electricity service providers in Oman are organized according to all regions of the Sultanate of Oman. These Service Providers are Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC), Majan Electricity Company (MJEC), Mazoon Electricity Company (MZEC) and Rural Areas Electricity Company (RAECO). These companies are 99.9% owned by the Electricity Holding Company (EHC). The E-portal is a joint collaboration initiated by these companies to provide better service to electricity customers.

The E-Portal provides a map for new users to first identify their location, hence their service provider of electricity. Users can then apply for electricity services through this portal.

The E-Portal will save users’ time as it allows them to access their bills online from home. It will also help to save the environment through the reduction in the number of paper bills and through providing conservation tips that help reduce energy and, hence, save the environment.
